We are seeking a skillful and dedicated Middle / High School Math Teacher to join our STEM faculty at BridgePrep Academy Doral. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Rigorous Math Instruction: Plan, internalize, and facilitate standards-aligned, engaging math lessons (ranging from foundational middle school math to high school algebra/geometry) based on our curriculum vision.

  • Differentiated Support: Adapt lessons to cater to diverse learning styles, implement algebraic and geometric conceptual modeling, and host necessary tutoring sessions to close learning gaps.

  • Data Analysis: Implement formal and informal assessments, analyze student performance data weekly to pivot instruction, and keep the gradebook updated.

  • Culture & Behavior Management: Implement and uphold BridgePrep’s behavior management system with fidelity to build character and a productive classroom community.

  • Family Partnership: Establish cooperative relationships with families based on trust and respect, providing clear updates on student progress every week.

  • School Community Integration: Dedicate 40+ hours per week at school, actively participating in department meetings, check-ins, professional development, and before/after-school duties.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.

  • Certification: Active Florida State Teaching Certification in Mathematics (Grades 5-9 or 6-12).

  • Skills: Solid understanding of secondary mathematics curriculum and instruction, strong classroom management for middle/high school dynamics, organizational aptitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Compliance: Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.

Preferred:

  • Prior instructional experience teaching middle or high school math.

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (eligible for salary supplement).

  • Familiarity with Florida B.E.S.T. standards, FAST/EOC exam frameworks, and effective educational technology tools.
