NOW HIRING: AFTER SCHOOL TEACHERS School Year 2026-2027


Multiple Greater Houston Locations: Austin Area


2026–2027 School Year | Program Begins August 2026

Elite Learning is seeking energetic, caring, and dependable After School Teachers to join our growing team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. We are recruiting early to build a strong team before our August program launch.

If you enjoy working with children, creating engaging learning experiences, and making a positive impact in students' lives, we would love to hear from you.

Program Schedule

Monday – Thursday: 2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

Locations: North Houston Area – Cypress and Katy Campuses

Key Responsibilities

Implement Program Curriculum

  • Plan and lead engaging educational and recreational activities.
  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs and interests of diverse learners.

Create a Safe & Positive Environment

  • Maintain a safe, structured, and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Encourage respect, teamwork, inclusion, and positive behavior.
  • Supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities.

Engage & Interact with Students

  • Build positive relationships through active participation and encouragement.
  • Assist with behavior management and conflict resolution.
  • Foster creativity, confidence, and collaboration.

Maintain Communication

  • Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and team members.
  • Provide updates regarding student participation and progress.
  • Collaborate with fellow staff to ensure program success.

Be a Positive Role Model

  • Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and enthusiasm.
  • Model positive attitudes and behaviors for students.
  • Represent Elite Learning with integrity and care.

Professional Development

  • Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification.
  • Reliable availability during after-school program hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in child care, education, tutoring, coaching, or youth programs.
  • Coursework or degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and basic technology skills.
  • Ability to actively engage with children in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move program supplies as needed.
  • Ability to supervise and actively participate in student activities.
