About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Jiu Jitsu Educator to join our growing team and lead after-school Jiu Jitsu programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is ideal for instructors who are passionate about martial arts, enjoy working with children, and are committed to creating a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment.

In this role, you will:
  • Teach age-appropriate Jiu Jitsu techniques and fundamentals to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
  • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
  • Foster discipline, respect, confidence, and teamwork through martial arts instruction
  • Plan and lead engaging Jiu Jitsu classes and skill-building activities
  • Adapt instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles
  • Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
  • Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
  • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
  • Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe
    Schedule: Thursdays 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
    Hourly Pay Rate: $50

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
