Job Title: Automation Maintenance Technician | $27.70/hr + Shift Premiums

P&G is home to many of the world's most trusted brands, including Tide, Dawn, Pampers, Charmin, Bounty, Crest, Gillette, and Swiffer. At the Dayton Fulfillment Center, our team uses advanced automation and robotics technology to move these products to customers efficiently, safely, and reliably.

Starting Pay: $27.70

Successfully complete your qualification period and receive your first pay increase to $28.80/hr after just 6 months.

Shift Premiums:

  • + $0.50/hr days (6 am - 6:30 pm)

  • + $2.00/hr nights (6 pm - 6:30 am)

  • + $2.50/hr rotating (2 week rotation between days to nights)

Work Hours:

12-hour shifts, on a 2-2-3 schedule. Biweekly rotating days/nights schedule, straight days, and straight nights shifts available.

With our 2-2-3 shift schedules, you get about15 days off per month; including a 3-day weekend every other week!

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and troubleshoot autonomous robots, automated conveyors, and material handling systems

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment calibrations

  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and system issues to minimize downtime

  • Monitor equipment performance and use data to identify and prevent potential problems

  • Drive continuous improvement projects that improve reliability, quality, and efficiency

  • Share technical knowledge and help develop the skills of other team members

  • Take ownership of equipment areas and help design solutions that improve system performance

Operations Schedule

Job Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Technical school, trade school, apprenticeship, or an associate degree in a related field preferred

  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical or technical experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial environment

  • Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment

  • Familiarity with conveyors, pumps, compressors, motors, gears, bearings, automated equipment, or robotics systems

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision instruments

  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and how they interact within automated operations

  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and teamwork skills

Successful completion of a Technical Interview will berequiredas part of the application process. Upon hire, you will be expected to remain inyourdepartment for at least18 monthsbefore being eligible for roles in alternate departments.
