Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Architect to lead and support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives, with a primary focus on Power BI report migration, architecture, development, and optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, SQL, ETL, and cloud data platforms, along with experience migrating reports from legacy BI platforms such as Tableau.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and execute Power BI report migration projects, including migration from Tableau and other legacy BI platforms.
  • Design and implement scalable Power BI architecture, reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytical applications.
  • Develop complex Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
  • Analyze existing reports and translate business and technical requirements into optimized Power BI solutions.
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks during and after report migration.
  • Design and optimize data models, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and semantic models.
  • Work with SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure, and other enterprise/cloud data platforms to develop reliable reporting solutions.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and business teams on ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration.
  • Establish Power BI development standards, best practices, governance, performance optimization, and deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot report, data, refresh, performance, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Agile delivery methodologies, SDLC processes, testing, deployment, and production releases.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, data engineers, and business users to ensure successful delivery of analytics solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong experience in Power BI development and architecture, including Reports, Dashboards, DAX, Power Query, and semantic modeling.
  • Strong experience with Power BI report migration, preferably from Tableau or other BI platforms.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with data validation, reconciliation, and testing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of Data Warehousing, ETL, dimensional modeling, and data architecture concepts.
  • Experience with Azure, Snowflake, SQL Server, or other cloud/enterprise data platforms.
  • Knowledge of Power BI performance optimization, data modeling, security, and deployment best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
