Job description

Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity – Colorado
Position Overview
Seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist for inpatient GI coverage and call support at a Level III Trauma Center. Candidates must be proficient in ERCP and comfortable managing acute inpatient and emergency GI cases.
Compensation:
Orientation – $240 per hour of orientation or training beyond 8 hours
Hourly – $490/hr
Holiday – $730 per holiday hour, no OT
Nightly Call – $545 per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis
Holiday Nightly Call - $820 per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis
On Call (Daily) – $3895 per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
24 Hour Holiday Call Rate - $5840 per 24 hours to include 4 hours gratis
Call Back – $490 per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms.
Holiday Call Back – $730 per holiday hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed, gratis prorate to MSA terms

Credentialing & Training
Credentialing timeframe approximately 60–90 days
Required Epic training and onboarding must be completed before start date
Candidates must be willing to complete all EMR modules, virtual training, and onboarding requirements in the required sequence
Submission Requirements
Candidates must provide:
Coverage dates they can work between October–December 2026
Ongoing monthly availability beginning January 2027
Confirmation of ERCP competency
Acknowledgement of EMR training requirements
Current NPDB Self-Query Report
Active Colorado License or Active IMLC LOQ
Travel
Travel assistance available according to facility guidelines. Candidates should be willing to utilize designated lodging arrangements when available.
