Job description

Sioux City Downtown is seeking a Locums Electrophysiologist for ongoing coverage starting January and beyond.

Schedule Highlights:

  • 20 shifts/month

  • Clinic: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

  • Procedure days: 2–3 per week

  • Call: Shared with 3 interventionalists
    (Weekend general call either before or after weekday coverage)

Practice Details:

  • Inpatient + outpatient responsibilities

  • Clinic volume: 20–25 patients/day

  • Hospital census: 10–20 cardiology patients

  • EMR: Cerner PowerChart

  • APP support (EP PA assists with post-procedure & established patients)

EP Procedures Include:

  • EP studies & ablations (AFib, AFlutter, SVT, PVC, VT)

  • Pacemaker/ICD/loop recorder insertions & generator changes

  • Device monitoring (remote & in-clinic)

  • TEE & cardioversions

Requirements:

  • BC/BE Electrophysiology

  • EP Fellowship Trained

  • IA License or IMLC

  • Clean malpractice + NPDB Self-Query (current)

  • Availability (1+ week/month)
