We are seeking an Assistant Facility Security Officer (AFSO) with Personnel Security, DD254, and COMSEC experience. You will assist the FSO in managing all aspects of the site industrial security program (visitor control, self-inspections, DCSA Security Reviews) to ensure compliance with USG agencies.This role requires the highest level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional written skills, analytical skills (policy and procedure interpretation and implementation), and exceptional attention to detail.This is an on -site position.

Responsibilities

  • Assists the FSO with self-inspections.
  • Serves as a Security POC to assigned contracts.
  • Maintains DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and NISS accounts.
  • Maintain classified material accountability records (inventory, receipts, transmittal, or disposition records)
  • Coordinates initial access eligibility determinations and creates PARs or SCI nominations.
  • Preparation and updates DD254s

Required

  • BS or BA degree
  • 3 years Industrial Security experience
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM
  • Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course
  • Must have an in-scope security clearance

  • SPeD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
  • OPSEC Level II Certification
