Job Title: CNC Mills Machinist

Status: Non-exempt (hourly)

Pay: $28/hr.+ DOE, plus shift differential and monthly bonus program is paid when company-wide monthly sales goal is reached (full-time).

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5AM to 5:30PM

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Run vertical CNC Mill and/or load and change out parts on CNC Mill Cells to produce product according to blueprints under the supervision of Senior Machinists.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

This job typically requires 6 months - 1 year experience operating CNC Vertical Mills or Horizontal Cell, the ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and a basic knowledge of machining. This job requires the use of precision measuring tools, 500# hoist and automatic drills or screwdrivers.


REQUIRED PERSONAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with others
  • Excellent work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to read and write in English is required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Run CNC mills or assigned machining cells by loading raw material, changing out parts, and following setup sheets and work instructions.
  • Inspect first-article parts using appropriate measurement tools and submit to Quality Control when required.
  • Machine parts to blueprint specifications, verifying dimensions and tolerances throughout the run to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform secondary operations such as tapping, deburring, cleaning, and part finishing as needed.
  • Carry out additional machining or production tasks as assigned to support workflow and production goals.
