Job description

Role: AR Specialist (Commercial/Brokerage Insurance Industry Required) Position: Contract (Permanent Potential) Location: Buckhead โ€“ Atlanta On-Site: Hybrid (3x a week โ€“ Tues-Thurs โ€“ after training period) Salary: $30/hr Job Details Vaco is partnering with a reputable insurance brokerage firm in Atlanta is seeking a detail?oriented AR Specialist to support daily AR operations in a fast?paced, multi?system environment. This contract role offers strong potential for permanent hire within a 4โ€“6-month timeframe. Candidates must have AR experience within the commercial/brokerage insurance industry to be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities Support daily Accounts Receivable operations across multiple internal systems Apply customer payments, including lockbox, ACH/wire, remote deposits, and other payment methods Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and account variances Prepare and post ad?hoc bank entries as needed Process refunds and voids in accordance with company policies Maintain reconciliation integrity across AR accounts Support billing updates, account maintenance, and agency?to?direct?bill transitions Collaborate closely with Underwriting, Business Development, and Customer Support teams Manage AR cases and tasks within workflow and CRM tools Communicate professionally with customers and agents to resolve inquiries Assist with reporting, audits, system updates, and user acceptance testing (UAT) Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy Qualifications 3-5+ years of AR experience in the brokerage/commercial insurance industry (REQUIRED) Strong analytical and reconciliations experience within accounting operations Proficiency with ERP systems, CRM tools, and Excel (Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas) Excellent communication and customer?service orientation Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline?driven environment Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individualโ€™s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
