Housekeeping Manager

Atlanta Cheesecake Company LLC is a leader in the dessert industry producing innovative, eye-appealing, mouth-watering products of the highest quality for the best possible price. Our focus is gourmet products for the consumer.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6pm-6am

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the weekday housekeeping crew of 9 individuals to ensure sanitary tasks are completed effectively and efficiently
  • Train new and existing employees on SSOP's and SOP's.
  • Inspection of equipment after cleaning to assure it meets company standards.
  • Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule.
  • Do chemical titration to insure correct chemical usage.
  • Testing equipment for cleanliness and gluten as needed.
  • Oversee weekend crew when Sanitation manager is out.
  • Fill out paperwork
  • Wash utensils and machinery; using hot or cold water as required.
  • Operate machinery as needed.
  • Knowledge of chemical dilutions and concentration.
  • Follow PPE procedures.
  • Knowledge of washing procedures by zones.
  • Knowledge of color-coding procedures.
  • Quality Control in the area.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling/storing
  • Other duties as assigned.
Experience Required
  • Must be able to work safely with products containing allergens (wheat, dairy, eggs and a variety of tree nuts).
  • Must have good communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must have some knowledge of how to use a computer.
  • Must have knowledge of basic math skills
Experience Preferred
  • Leading people in the past.
  • Knowledge of the seven steps of sanitation or cleaning in food plants.
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
  • Ability to assess situation and problem solve.
Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Work positions include walking, standing, climbing, and walking fast in an emergency situation. Must work be able to work in hot and cold rooms and/or ambient outside temperatures. Must be able to perform manual tasks involving continuous movement of hands and fingers. Must be punctual.
