POSITION OVERVIEW :
We’re seeking a friendly, hard-working Cashier to join our front-of-house team!  You'll be the first point of contact for guests—responsible for creating a positive experience, entering orders, processing payments, and helping manage online and delivery pickups. You’ll also help maintain cleanliness, support your teammates, and represent the Green + The Grain brand with enthusiasm and care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : 
  • Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system
  • Process transactions (credit + mobile payments) and issue receipts
  • Assist with mobile and third-party order pickups (Uber Eats, DoorDash, etc.)
  • Restock front of house items (napkins, utensils, beverages, retail extensions, etc.)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and counter space
  • Communicate clearly with service team to ensure smooth order flow
  • Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally, with support from a manager
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  QUALIFICATIONS : 
  • Previous experience as a cashier, host, or customer service role is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Positive, team-first attitude and dependable work ethic
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs if needed
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Knowledge of Square POS is a benefit
