Job description

Job Title: Aerospace Quality Inspector Position Summary: We are a fast-paced job shop operating within the aerospace manufacturing sector. The Aerospace Quality Inspector plays a critical role in supporting production flow by ensuring all products meet stringent quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, experienced in aerospace quality systems, and capable of working efficiently in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities: Interpret complex engineering drawings with excellent blueprint reading skills and strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Perform inspections using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers (CMM and CAD experience is a plus) Accurately measure and document results on routers and AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports Approve incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to maintain quality standards Ensure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements before shipment Maintain clear, accurate documentation and records Follow verbal and written instructions effectively Communicate quality issues and updates to the QA Manager and other management personnel Qualifications & Requirements: Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience in aerospace quality inspection Experience working within an AS9100 quality system Strong shop math skills and legible handwriting Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Windows) Typing speed of at least 25 WPM with high accuracy Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Ability to work in a fast-paced job shop environment Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Compensation: Starting pay range:$22 to $35
