LHH is seeking a Quality Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with an aerospace manufacturing client located in the Greater Indianapolis Area. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing organization that values operational excellence, quality performance, and continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations. In this leadership role, you will guide and develop a quality team, strengthen quality processes, drive accountability, and partner with executive leadership to support continued business growth and customer satisfaction. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $125,000-140,000 per year plus bonus and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match. ***Due to government regulations involving defense contracts, candidates must possess U.S. Citizenship in order to be considered for this position. Candidates without valid U.S. Citizenship need not apply.*** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead and develop the quality department to achieve performance and compliance objectives.
  • Establish priorities and assign workloads across quality personnel and support functions.
  • Drive accountability, performance management, and employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory quality standards.
  • Oversee quality audits and support continuous readiness efforts.
  • Manage corrective action programs and nonconformance resolution activities.
  • Ensure completion of inspection documentation and compliance records.
  • Review customer specifications and quality requirements for manufacturing projects.
  • Monitor key quality metrics and report performance to leadership.
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to resolve quality concerns.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and operational effectiveness.
  • Support first article inspections and validation activities as required.
  • Ensure shipping documentation packages meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a culture of quality excellence, teamwork, and process discipline.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve organizational performance and customer satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related discipline is preferred
  • Minimum of 10+ years of quality engineering experience within a manufacturing industry is required
  • Must have 3+ years of experience leading a team of quality engineering personnel
  • Ideal candidates will have experience within aerospace, automotive, medical device, or similar industries
  • Ideal candidates will have experience with regulated quality systems and compliance standards
  • Ideal candidates will have experience managing corrective actions and nonconformance processes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams
