In this Aerospace Quality Inspector position, you’ll play an essential role in ensuring parts meet strict aerospace standards. You’ll perform more mechanical inspections, use precision tools, and document results that directly impact product quality and safety.

Aerospace Quality Inspector Duties:

  • Operate and utilize a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to perform precise mechanical inspections and verify part dimensions against specifications

  • Conduct daily in-process inspections to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards

  • Use precision measurement tools such as calipers, gauges, microscopes, CMM, and optical comparators

  • Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to verify product specifications

  • Document inspections, nonconformances, corrective actions, and process improvements

  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs), receiving inspections, and in-process inspections

Schedule:

  • Day Shift

  • Monday to Thursday, 5:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Pay: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour

Aerospace Quality Inspector Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1–2 years of aerospace quality inspection experience 

  • 1+ year of experience operating CMM

  • Basic shop math skills 

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings

  • Proficient with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, CMM)
