Job description

Job Summary:
GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager - ETL Developer to lead Digital Technology projects and support the IT Insurance Operations function. The role involves partnering with stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality data solutions, overseeing data integration initiatives, and ensuring operational excellence across platforms.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business stakeholders to engage at technical and business levels to gather requirements, define data solutions, prioritize enhancements, and provide outstanding customer-focused operational support.
• Provide solution ownership for data integration and platform initiatives, including design, development, implementation, and testing.
• Responsible for testing, quality assurance, and data validation activities, including facilitating user acceptance testing and resolving data quality issues.
• Lead process improvements and reengineering efforts related to data integration, data quality, and operational support, leveraging industry best practices.
• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based ETL pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Responsible for production support of operational platforms and data pipelines, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Build strong working relationships across IT, Operations, and external partners to influence outcomes and execute on business strategies.
• Provide leadership and guidance to multi-location and offshore development teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, adherence to standards, and effective collaboration.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with at least 3 years focused on data engineering or data integration roles.
• Hands-on experience with Data Integration (ETL) Tools (IDMC), relational database modeling, SQL, end-user reporting, and cloud-based applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with business users to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
• Energetic and driven person with a passion for problem solving and providing outstanding client support.
Preferred:
• Experience with Life or LTC insurance/reinsurance business processes.
• Focused and flexible with ability to drive change and lead others to excel in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern data architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, analytics platforms).
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear communication tailored to a targeted audience.
• Experience using Python for data processing, automation, and integration.
• Working knowledge of R for data analysis or actuarial and statistical use cases.
