Pay Rate: $81.00/hour

EXPLEO GROUP USA is seeking a Consultant-level Design Engineer (Level 5) to provide advanced technical leadership across aerospace design programs.

This role is suited for an experienced professional who is recognized as a subject matter expert, capable of solving highly complex design problems and influencing engineering excellence across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex aerospace design solutions for structural and mechanical systems
  • Develop and review advanced CATIA V5 models and drawing packages
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and configuration control processes
  • Act as technical authority within IPTs and across programs
  • Guide design methodologies, practices, and standards
  • Support program milestones, risk mitigation, and quality objectives
  • Mentor engineers across all levels
  • Influence cross-functional design decisions and strategies
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited)
  • 14+ years aerospace design experience
  • Deep expertise in structural and mechanical design
  • Strong experience with Boeing standards and defence programs
  • Advanced CATIA V5 proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of FAA and aerospace compliance standards
  • Demonstrated leadership in complex engineering environments
