Job description

You will be the Aeronautical Engineering Associate Manager for the Design Process Integration Team which is responsible for shaping engineering design policies, procedures, and tool usage across Lockheed Martin Aeronautics.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Aeronautical Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading firstline engineering and Design Process Integration efforts, driving process innovation, and ensuring rigorous documentation standards.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Lead firstline engineering efforts and guide the Design Process Integration team in policy creation and maintenance.

  • Develop, document, and validate BuildToPackage (BTP) processes and ensure alignment with stakeholder requirements.

  • Conduct engineering tool testing, implementation, and support for the Project Saber PLM segment.

  • Oversee daily operations of the Design Release and Data Transfer organizations, coordinating with DPI policies.

  • Partner with crossfunctional stakeholders to review design artifacts, identify reuse opportunities, and drive process improvements.
