Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with Level 3 NICU experience for a day shift position requiring ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Details
  • Respiratory Care unit within a 160-bed hospital staffed by 32 respiratory therapists
  • Covers ICU, Med Surg, ER, and Level 3 NICU patient populations
  • Day shift schedule of 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM on a 3x12 basis, totaling 36 hours per week
  • Works every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)
  • No on-call requirements
  • Uses ventilators including PB and Drager V500, Aerogen nebulizers, V60 BiPAP, HHFNC, Hamilton C-transport, Oscillator, Jet, Nitric, and Bubble CPAP
  • Utilizes Epic EMR
Requirements
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in respiratory therapy
  • Level 3 NICU experience required
  • Acute care experience in Med Surg, ER, and ICU settings
  • Experience managing BiPAPs, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units
  • Experience assisting with intubations and bedside bronchoscopies
  • Proficient EMR charting skills
  • License required if applicable
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
