Job description


Do you have a passion for working with and being around aircraft? Aero Center Spokane-GEG and Aero Center Felts Field are looking for Line Service Technicians to provide a variety of aircraft services, including marshaling, fueling, hangar storage, towing and other ground support. They will be responsible for coordinating and direct ramp movements for arriving and departing aircraft as well as operate ground service equipment, such as tugs, fuel trucks and transport vans in a safe manner. In addition, Line Service Technicians deliver a proactive, personalized service experience to private and business aviation clientele.

Aero Centers offers, directly or through partnerships or tenant management, a full spectrum of general aviation services. It is a customer-centric private aviation expert to the community it serves, an Aero Concierge. Aero Centers is a growing FBO (Fixed Base Operator) portfolio featuring full-service, integrated, and smart FBOs staffed by aviation experts.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of provided AvFuel Safety First program
  • Completion of Spokane International Airport Badging Program
  • Greet, park, tow, move and marshal aircraft arriving or departing ramp area
  • Fueling/defueling aircraft as requested
  • Move passenger/crew cars as required
  • Ground power servicing
  • Assist passengers and/or crew with baggage/cargo as needed
  • Assist with general cleaning of debris from ramp, building and customer area
  • Routine daily quality control inspections and procedures of re-fuelers
  • Provide oil service for aircraft
  • Reloading of fuel vehicles
  • All associated record keeping
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Work with accuracy, with an eye for detail
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Experience:

Aviation or ground handling: 1 year (Preferred)

Additional Expectations:

Deliver a proactive, personalized service experience to private and business aviation clientele.

Additional responsibilities may include providing shuttle service for passengers/crew as needed.

Read, understand and adhere to expectations and responsibilities set forth by management.

Position Requirements:

Must be 18 years old

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.

Experience with aviation ground handling preferred.

Basic reading, writing and math skills.

Ability to work under pressure and adaptable to change.

Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Must possess a valid state Driver's License.

Ability to work some nights, holidays, and weekends.

100% Drug free workplace-pre-employment drug test is required.
