Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is coming to the Akron/Cleveland area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Laborers !
Aerial Telecom Laborers (Groundman) will handle projects of various complexity and perform site work on new business projects within our Telcom Construction division. It is also a great opportunity to be part of the initial team that will establish Team Fishel as the leader in utility construction industry in Northeast Ohio as it grows.
Responsibilities
  • Work as a part of a overhead telecom crew
  • Load, unload, layout and prep tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site
  • Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor
  • Handle physically demanding construction duties

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Valid CDL-A is strongly desired
  • Must be able to follow instructions and have good communication skills
  • Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig, and reach
  • Must be able to climb ladders
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be able to perform strenuous physical labor under all types of conditions
  • Valid Driver's license required with clean driving record for the last 3 years
  • Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools etc.
  • Must be committed to working safely
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen

Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
