Are you ready to make a significant impact at a leading financial services firm, partnering with Aquent Talent? We're seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join a dynamic team focused on modernizing crucial client-facing technology. In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming how clients interact with essential information, directly contributing to a seamless and efficient experience. Your expertise will drive innovation in building and enhancing adaptive web forms, leveraging cutting-edge tools and AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery and elevate the client journey.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement Adaptive Web Form content using the AEM forms tool, ensuring a robust and user-friendly experience.
* Collaborate with the existing team to enhance development pipelines and streamline processes.
* Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of forms, from user interface design and submission to backend processing and data storage.
* Utilize core AEM concepts to build and define APIs for efficient form submissions.
* Apply professional front-end development skills to create high-quality web solutions.
* Demonstrate knowledge of code upgrade and promotion processes, including core component upgrades and deployments via package manager.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to authentication protocols (SAML) and OSGi bundles.
* Leverage experience with AEM Dispatcher in a forms environment to optimize performance and delivery.
* Integrate and utilize GenAI coding assistants across the software development lifecycle, including implementation, refactoring, unit testing, and code reviews, applying sound engineering judgment.
* Contribute to establishing team-level best practices for effective AI-assisted development, including agentic workflows, spec-driven development, and prompt engineering.
* Engage with CI/CD tools to ensure efficient and automated deployment processes.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience working with on-premise Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) toolset, with a strong preference for AEM forms and building Adaptive Web Forms using Core components in a headless setup.
* Proficiency in using Rule editors, Theme editor, FDM, and writing custom JavaScript functions.
* Demonstrated ability to handle the end-to-end form lifecycle.
* Experience in utilizing core AEM concepts to build and define APIs for form submissions.
* Professional-level front-end skillsets including HTML, JSP, and NPM webpack build.
* Knowledge of code upgrade and promotion processes, including core component upgrades and deployments through package manager.
* Ability to troubleshoot issues related to SAML and OSGi bundles.
* Experience in using AEM Dispatcher in a forms environment.
* Demonstrated exposure to, or hands-on experience with, GenAI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) across day-to-day engineering workflows in the SDLC.
* Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering, with the ability to establish team-level practices for effective AI-assisted development.
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jenkins, or GitHub.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
  • Experience with automated testing of Adaptive Forms.
* Experience with headless content delivery.
* Proficiency in coding with Angular, Typescript, Javascript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Backbone, or ReactJS.
* Experience working with web servers like JBoss, WebLogic, IIS, or Apache.
* Knowledge of Web Content Management Systems.
