Position Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support the AEGIS TECHREP program under Engineering Support Services (ESS). This role focuses on software/system verification, product validation, and technical documentation for radar and sensor systems. You'll work across the engineering lifecycle, ensuring test artifacts are clear, traceable, and actionable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute system/software verification for radar/sensor capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and reports with clear pass/fail criteria.
  • Perform data analysis and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Support product validation and release readiness activities.
  • Review computer systems requirements and document discrepancies
  • Maintain metrics on tested computer requirements
  • Brief Leadership on projects assigned
  • Author customer-facing documentation and contribute to monthly reporting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (prime, subcontractors, and government) to align on scope and close actions.
  • Operate within cleared environments following NAVSEA/BAE security protocols and Orgro SOPs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years in systems/software test & verification within defense/DoD programs.
  • Strong technical writing and data analysis skills.
  • Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AEGIS or naval radar systems.
  • Experience with Linux OS, Coding, Systems Testing
  • Contribution to SETR or equivalent engineering reviews.

Work Arrangement

  • On-site in Mt. Laurel/Moorestown, NJ to support test events and daily collaboration.
