Its innovative structure and integrated system of service delivery is widely respected by school leaders across the country.
Full-time (190 day) Teacher position to start August 2026, at the Linn County Juvenile Detention Center classroom, located at 800 Walford Rd. SW Cedar Rapids.
Serves primarily secondary students in a variety of off-campus settings including shelter, detention, prison and others. Provides instructional and behavioral programming designed to meet each student's unique educational needs.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor's degree in education.
  2. Iowa license with Instructional Strategist I, or Strategist II endorsement.
  3. One year of classroom experience including supervision of students, implementation of instructional and behavioral planning, evaluation of student progress, and working with students with behavior challenges.
