Cost Segregation Associate / Senior Associate
Location: Midwest

At Clark Schaefer Hackett, you'll work alongside experienced professionals to deliver high-quality cost segregation studies and tax savings strategies for clients across a broad range of industries. As part of a collaborative and growing team, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to complex engagements, work directly with clients, and play an important role in the continued success of the practice.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of cost segregation studies for clients ranging from privately held businesses to large real estate owners, developers, and investors.
  • Analyze construction costs, engineering reports, fixed asset records, and other supporting documentation to identify opportunities for accelerated depreciation and tax savings.
  • Collaborate with tax, accounting, engineering, and advisory professionals throughout all phases of the engagement.
  • Support client communications and help ensure projects are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Research tax laws, regulations, and industry developments to support technical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Contribute to a high-performing team committed to delivering exceptional client service and practical solutions.
