Location Designation: Fully Remote
Role Overview:
  • This role sits in the Financial Guidance Center of Excellence (FG CoE), in the Field Experience Value Stream, focused on enabling advisors to deliver holistic, protection-first financial guidance at scale.
  • The Case Design Specialist operates at the intersection of advisor enablement and case execution, helping advisors move from client engagement to implemented solutions through structured, high-quality financial planning support.
  • This role serves as a key enabler of Protection Powered Growth to translate financial planning strategy into actionable case design, accelerate advisor capability, and improve client outcomes.
  • This role does not directly manage client relationships but instead enables advisors and field leaders to deliver high-quality financial guidance and case execution.
  • The role leverages emerging AI capabilities to enhance case design, improve advisor efficiency, and support scalable delivery of financial planning across the field
  • Partner with advisors and field leaders to co-develop and advance complex cases from intake to implementation
  • Improve case velocity, quality, and close rates
  • Build repeatable case design frameworks that scale across the field
  • Support scaling of holistic financial guidance and case design capabilities across the field through repeatable frameworks, advisor enablement, and AI-enabled workflows

What You'll Do:
1.Case Design & Execution Excellence
This role focuses on enabling advisor success through case design, planning and guidance support, and capability development rather than direct client ownership.
  • Partner with Advisors and Field Managers to co-develop and advance complex financial planning cases
  • Deliver holistic, protection-first case strategies spanning protection, accumulation, and legacy planning
  • Improve case quality, velocity, and close rates
  • Support cases from intake through implementation, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with client goals

2. Driving Protection Powered Growth
  • Embed protection-first planning principles into case designs
  • Support advisors in identifying opportunities to expand the client relationship
  • Support advisors in identifying opportunities to expand the client relationship
  • Reinforce outcome-based planning frameworks that improve long-term client value

3. Advisor & Field Enablement
  • Coach advisors and Field managers on:
    • Identifying holistic planning opportunities
    • Structuring effective client conversations
    • Advancing cases to implementation
  • Support field training and enablement efforts, including office hours, case reviews, and playbooks
  • Help build advisor confidence and capability in delivering comprehensive financial guidance

4. AI-Enabled Planning & Innovation
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance case design, research, and planning outputs
  • Identify opportunities to use AI to improve case speed, quality, and scalability
  • Partner with Tech & Data to test and refine AI-supported workflows for financial guidance, case development, and advisor decision support

Success in this role will be measured through:
  • Advisor adoption and repeat engagement with FG CoE
  • Case-to-close conversion rates
  • Case turnaround time and throughput
  • Multi-product solutions per household
  • Advisor productivity (e.g., FYC impact, case rate growth)
  • Quality and scalability of case design frameworks

What You'll Bring:
Required:
  • CFP® designation strongly preferred (or progress toward certification)
  • ChFC or equivalent advanced planning designation
  • Experience with eMoney preferred
  • Proven experience in financial planning, case design, or advanced sales support
  • Strong understanding of holistic financial planning concepts (protection, accumulation, legacy)
  • Ability to analyze financial information and translate into client-ready strategies
  • Experience working with or supporting financial advisors and field organizations
  • Valid Securities Licenses
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills in a matrixed environment
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities
  • Experience developing training content or coaching advisors
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, financial planning tools, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini or similar platforms) to enhance analysis, content creation, or workflow efficiency

Pay Transparency
Salary Range: $100,000-$143,000
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
