MassMedia Marketing, Advertising, PR is a fast-growing advertising and public relations agency headquartered in Las Vegas, NV, with offices in Phoenix and Orange County. We are currently seeking a PR Coordinator for our team. In this role, youโ€™ll be serving as support across a variety of PR clients while building professional relationships and strengthening skillsets. Youโ€™ll actively be communicating progress and deliverables to colleagues while delivering results through high-quality work. This individual will work alongside a collaborative team of branding and media relations experts, content and social media strategists, media buyers and designers. The Public Relations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Public Relations department by serving as support across the departmentโ€™s client roster, as well as ownership of select client projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to the public relations department across department client roster and run select clients
  • Create, deliver, edit, and optimize PR materials โ€“ executive bios, corporate newsletter content, online/digital content, and press releases
  • Conduct media outreach
  • Research news coverage and industry trends in order to develop fresh story ideas
  • Client service administration support โ€“ meeting agendas, recaps, client correspondence, monthly coverage reports, attending meetings, scheduling
  • Maintain department media lists
  • Provide research and editorial support
  • Track press coverage and placements

Requirements

The PR Coordinator will be an energetic, self-directed individual with a creative approach to public relations activities. Qualified candidates will have 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing, public relations and communications and a bachelorโ€™s degree in marketing/communications, journalism, or related area.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrates ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and roles
  • Organized, accurate and detail-oriented
  • You live and breathe 'accountability' โ€“ say what you'll do and do what you say
  • You have a make-it-happen attitude โ€“ someone who is scrappy, creative, asks questions, provides status updates, and speaks to performance around vital results
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, MS Project, Excel and MS Office

  • Takes initiative in building skills and knowledge and otherwise increasing her/his value to the agency and to clients
  • Works with supervisor to identify and address training, education and skill-building needs for him/herself and, potentially, others
  • Continually seeks new ways to learn and improve
