Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Creative Strategist based in Netherlands.

As a Senior Creative Strategist, you will own the paid social creative strategy for a fast-growing direct-to-consumer jewelry brand operating across multiple international markets. You will take responsibility for understanding what makes advertising creative perform and turn those insights into stronger concepts, messaging, scripts and testing strategies. Working with significant Meta advertising investment, you will have access to fast performance feedback and meaningful data to guide your decisions. You will work closely with founders and performance marketing stakeholders while directing a broader creative production process. A key focus will be building a repeatable creative testing system that consistently identifies, iterates and scales winning concepts. You will also help establish workflows, documentation and processes that enable a scalable internal creative function. This is a high-ownership, fully remote opportunity requiring strong collaboration across European CET working hours.

Accountabilities
  • Own the overall performance creative strategy for Meta advertising across the brand's international markets.
  • Analyze creative performance using metrics such as CPA, CTR, CVR, ROAS, hook rate and other relevant performance indicators.
  • Identify the hooks, angles, formats, messages, creative patterns and audience insights that contribute to winning performance.
  • Translate performance insights into new creative concepts, scripts, ad copy and detailed briefs for production teams.
  • Build structured creative testing and iteration roadmaps designed to improve the speed, quality and effectiveness of creative experimentation.
  • Conduct competitor research and investigate customer pain points, motivations, behaviors and emerging market trends.
  • Direct and coordinate video editors, designers, creators and other creative contributors.
  • Review creative output and provide clear, specific and performance-driven feedback.
  • Turn campaign and performance data into actionable creative recommendations and decisions.
  • Improve creative workflows, documentation, testing frameworks and production systems to create a more scalable operation.
  • Help build, manage and develop an internal creative team as the function grows.
  • Collaborate closely with founders and performance marketing stakeholders to align creative strategy with broader commercial objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong professional experience in DTC, e-commerce or another performance-driven consumer business.
  • Meaningful in-house or brand-side experience, ideally with direct ownership of creative strategy.
  • Hands-on experience developing and optimizing creative specifically for Meta Ads.
  • Experience working with significant paid social budgets and high volumes of creative production and testing.
  • Strong understanding of direct-response advertising, consumer psychology and performance creative principles.
  • Excellent ability to develop compelling hooks, angles, concepts, scripts, messaging and creative briefs.
  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence interpreting performance data and using it to inform creative decisions.
  • Proven experience with structured creative testing, rapid iteration and performance-led optimization.
  • Experience directing or managing designers, video editors, creators or other creative professionals.
  • Strong copywriting and communication skills, with excellent professional English.
  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively and take ownership in a lean, fast-moving environment.
  • Strong creative judgment combined with a commercially minded and data-driven approach.
  • Experience in fashion, jewelry, beauty, wellness, apparel or other visually driven consumer categories is highly relevant.
  • Familiarity with AI creative tools and AI-assisted production workflows is a strong advantage.
  • Comfortable collaborating remotely with teams and stakeholders across European CET working hours.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position within Europe.
  • High level of ownership and autonomy over the creative strategy function.
  • Opportunity to work with a significant Meta advertising budget of approximately 1M per month.
  • Direct exposure to founders and senior decision-makers.
  • Fast creative feedback loops supported by meaningful performance data.
  • Opportunity to build and shape a scalable internal creative function from the ground up.
  • High-impact role within a fast-growing international DTC business.
  • Opportunity to influence creative strategy across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand markets.
  • Significant scope to develop and implement creative testing, production and optimization systems.
  • Opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary creative team including designers, editors and creators.
  • Flexible remote working environment with collaboration centered around CET hours.
  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of creative strategy, consumer psychology, performance marketing and AI-assisted production.
