Graceworks Lutheran Services is a not for profit organization serving over 2000 older adults and adults with disabilities. We are a leader in offering services and settings that inspire and support a sense of home when people experience challenging and changing circumstances related to aging and living with disabilities.

Position summary:

The individual in this position will be responsible for recruitment and retention functions within the organization. Find and attract qualified applicants for open positions. Review resumes, focusing on skills matching up best to the requirements at hand and interview candidates.

Full Time, Day Shift, Onsite 

Duties:

  • Screens all assigned job applications and resumes.
  • Verifies prior employment information for all assigned applicants who will be considered for employment
  • Conducts introductory interviews and select for further selection consideration based upon job qualifications and criteria.
  • Writes, develops, annual/monthly recruiting plans and monitor plans for effectiveness.  Make recommendations for future recruiting needs and opportunities.
  • Represents agency at Job Fairs, career fairs, graduations and other recruiting events.
  • Writes, and monitors Agency employment advertising including advertising used on social media and/or digital media platforms
  • Assists with new employee orientation and communicates appropriate information to new hires.
  • Maintains and tracks various recruitment activities and statistics (job postings, interviews, position requisitions, time to fill, etc.).
  • Maintains requisition requests including entering new requisitions and closing requisitions when positions close.
  • Complete miscellaneous monthly reports and projects including, but not limited to; operations reports, communication/operations reports for supporting departments, monthly HR tasks and reports
  • Serves as the back-up person to cover HR Assistant when needed and during vacations, illnesses, etc.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred.
  • Two years of experience in recruiting desired.
  • Must be proficient with all Microsoft Office products. 
  • Requires a high degree of detail and meet details.
