About This Role

We're seeking passionate and dedicated educators to join our team at Once Upon a Time Child Care Center in Verona, WI. We offer a supportive work environment, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for growth and development. Our centers provide a fun and engaging atmosphere where children can learn and thrive. We're looking for Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Support Staff to fill part-time positions in our classrooms. Full and part-time roles are available, and we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.


We have several openings available, including part-time teachers for the 7:00am - 9:00am or 2:30/3:00-5:30 shifts, Monday through Friday. These roles offer flexibility, stability, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children. Salary: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour


Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week


What You'll Do
  • Engage children in play and learning activities, utilizing a variety of materials and resources to promote exploration and imagination.
  • Provide personalized care and attention to meet the unique needs of each child, including feeding, dressing, and toileting.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different learning styles and abilities, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment, setting clear expectations and boundaries to ensure a safe and supportive space for all.
  • Lead activities that promote physical, mental, and social development, such as arts and crafts, music, storytelling, and outdoor play.
  • Prepare and maintain a well-organized and inviting classroom environment, incorporating displays and arrangements that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
  • Model and demonstrate activities to children, promoting hands-on learning and exploration.
  • Plan and supervise class projects, field trips, and other experiential activities, guiding students in learning from these experiences.
  • Attend professional meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay current on best practices and enhance professional skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of all students.
