2026-2027 School Year 

Before and After School Program Leader- San Ramon Valley, CA

$23+/-per hour

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. As a Program Leader we are looking for individuals to inspire, spark curiosity, encourage creativity, foster a sense of community, warmth, and promote a deep sense of belonging for every child.

This occurs in a dynamic environment that thrives on innovation, excitement, and adventure. Our mission is to create an unforgettable experience for young minds, providing a sense of wonder and exploration.

 

Start Date: Mid to late June

Location: Rancho Romero Elementary School & Creekside Elementary School

Schedule: Must be available Monday - Friday (3 different start times available) -No weekends!

Here's what you'll need:

  • Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university.
  • At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center
  • 12 units of courses that cover child growth and development, human growth and development, child, family, and community, or program/curriculum
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
  • Must be registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency
  • Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations
  • As an AlphaBEST Program Leader, you'll be trained to do the following:

    • Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
    • Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
    • Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
    • Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
