Job description

Neonatal Nurse Practitioner | Las Vegas, NV
 
Position Overview
  • Type: Full-Time, Permanent
  • Setting: Level III NICU – High-acuity, 72-bed unit
  • Team: 13 Neonatologists & 12 APPs (NNPs/PAs)
  • Average Daily Census: ~60 patients
  • Patient Population: Critically ill neonates, including ELBW infants
  • Not Accepting: Locums or visa candidates

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced neonatal care in a high-volume, collaborative NICU
  • Participate in dedicated neonatal resuscitation and transport teams
  • Perform and manage:
    • Neonatal ECMO
    • Jet and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation
    • Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
    • Whole-body cooling for HIE
  • Coordinate care with full-spectrum pediatric subspecialists
  • Work closely with teams in PICU, CVICU, and pediatric ER

    Licensure & Qualifications
    • Neonatal Nurse Practitioner License – Active NV License Required
    • Board Certification (NNP) – Required
    • Experience with high-acuity neonates – Strongly Preferred
