Job Summary

Adventist Home Health and Hospice is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join our Austin team. This is a per-visit position, ideal for an RN who wants control over their schedule while still doing meaningful, hands-on patient care. You will create and manage individualized plans of care for home health and hospice patients, working independently in patients' homes while staying connected to a supportive clinical team. You are detail oriented with a big heart, take pride in personalized care planning, and communicate effectively in your patient's best interest.
Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with colleagues to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans for home health and hospice patients
  • Administer medications and monitor patients for side effects or reactions
  • Document any changes in patient condition and report findings promptly
  • Maintain accurate, timely records of patient care and discuss observations with your supervisor
  • Accept PRN visits based on your own availability
Qualifications

  • Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas
  • Previous home health or hospice experience preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for home visits
  • First aid/CPR certification required
