Position Summary

The Construction Project Manager is the onsite leader for a largescale construction project, responsible for full oversight of all construction activities. Working under limited supervision, this role independently applies advanced project management and technical expertise to complex assignments and is recognized as a fully competent, experienced professional.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all construction efforts at a large project site.
  • Provide day to day project management for construction and service projects.
  • Coordinate with customers, review schedules, and participate in design reviews.
  • Support the COR by performing all project management tasks and maintaining project documentation.
  • Develop solutions to construction challenges or unforeseen field conditions.
  • Review contractor submittals for contract compliance.
  • Participate in acquisition activities, including responding to offeror questions, attending site visits, and joining contractor/government meetings.
  • Draft technical responses to change orders.
  • Prepare statements of work (SOWs) and cost estimates for new contracts and contract modifications.
  • Provide oversight of construction related activities for assigned contracts.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • US Citizen
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience on commercial or government construction projects.
  • PMP or other project management certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction efforts with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and coordination skills.
