Cardiology Advanced Practice Providerย 
Preventive Cardiology โ€” Cumming & Johns Creek, Georgia


NSC Cardiology, part of US Heart & Vascular (USHV), is seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our preventive cardiology practice in Cumming and Johns Creek, Georgia โ€” serving the North Metro Atlanta community.


The APP will work closely with the practice's physician to provide high-quality, outpatient cardiovascular care with a strong focus on cardiometabolic risk management, including diabetes, lipid disorders, hypertension, and chronic kidney disease, along with heart failure and atrial fibrillation management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, growing practice with real potential to develop into an independent clinical role.


Position Highlights
โ€ขย ย  ย Full-time, Mondayโ€“Friday clinic-based schedule โ€” no call, no routine hospital rounding
โ€ขย ย  ย Preventive cardiology focus: cardiometabolic risk, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation management
โ€ขย ย  ย Split time between the Cumming and Johns Creek offices
โ€ขย ย  ย Supportive, physician-led practice environment with hands-on training
โ€ขย ย  ย Open to newer APPs with a strong cardiology or critical care nursing background


Clinical Opportunity
This full-time position provides outpatient preventive cardiology care across both office locations.


Responsibilities include:
โ€ขย ย  ย Conduct outpatient clinic visits, including chronic disease management and cardiovascular risk-factor evaluation
โ€ขย ย  ย Manage patients with cardiometabolic conditions, heart failure, and atrial fibrillation
โ€ขย ย  ย Collaborate with the supervising physician to ensure efficient, coordinated patient flow
โ€ขย ย  ย Provide patient education and support diagnostic testing as needed
โ€ขย ย  ย Work toward independent clinic coverage as training and experience progress


Qualifications
โ€ขย ย  ย Active license in the state of Georgia, or license-eligible
โ€ขย ย  ย Cardiology experience preferred; strong cardiovascular or critical care nursing background also considered
โ€ขย ย  ย Strong clinical skills and ability to work both collaboratively and independently
