Job description

Advanced Practice Provider Opportunity in Cumming and Alpharetta, GA!

Join Advanced Urology and be a valued member of a collaborative, patient-centered care team!

At Advanced Urology, we are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to practice at the top of their license in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your clinical skills and expertiseโ€”seeing patients independently, performing procedures, and participating in surgeries. You will receive hands-on training and mentorship, while contributing to a practice that prioritizes exceptional patient care.

Why Advanced Urology?

As a Physician Assistant at Advanced Urology, you'll be a key part of our team, working closely with urologists and other providers in delivering high-quality, compassionate care. Our PAs enjoy tremendous responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact on patient outcomes.

  • Independence: You will see patients independently in clinic, perform procedures, and assist in surgeries.
  • Collaboration: You'll work alongside top-tier urologists, receive personalized mentoring, and have access to a collaborative care team.
  • Impact: Our Physician Assistants are instrumental in shaping patient care and outcomes. Your role extends beyond patient visitsโ€”you're part of our dynamic hospital rounds and surgical team.

About Advanced Urology

We are a privately-held, 45-provider urology practice in the metro Atlanta suburbs. Founded, owned, and led by urologists, we are proud to offer a unique integrated care model with a network of 12 clinics and 7 ambulatory care centers. Our state-of-the-art centers provide comprehensive services, including modern surgery suites, advanced lab testing, digital imaging, and access to novel clinical trials.

We believe in leading by example, fostering a culture of hard work, collaboration, and excellence. We value outstanding patient care and measurable outcomes, and our team is committed to supporting each other both professionally and personally.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, CME allowance, and a 401(k) plan.
  • Work-life balance with reasonable hours and a supportive work environment. Work 4 days a week after your initial 2 years with no reduction in compensation!
  • Physician mentoring and ample opportunities for professional growth.
  • Amazing team cultureโ€”we prioritize camaraderie and the well-being of our staff.
  • A full support staff including documentation, IT, scheduling, and billing.

New Graduates Welcome!

We offer a robust three-month onboarding program and pair new Physician Assistants with an experienced APP Mentor to ensure a smooth transition and help you grow in your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • See new and follow-up patients, develop treatment plans, and provide excellent patient care.
  • Perform procedures and assist in surgeries at our Ambulatory Surgery Centersโ€”our APPs are leaders in operative skills nationwide.
  • Collaborate with physicians in the clinic and provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in hospital rounds, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Educate and mentor new APPs and other staff members to promote professional development.
  • This position will require time in both Alpharetta and Cumming locations.

Requirements:

  • Masterโ€™s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive team environment.
