WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Franciscan Physician Network is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to meet the growing demand for general surgery services at Franciscan Health Munster located in Munster, IN. Interested candidate will join our proficient group of 4 physicians and support staff.
WHAT WE NEED:
Provider will primarily support and assist with hospital rounding at our Franciscan Health Munster and Franciscan Health Dyer locations. Ideal candidate will experience in past or present hospital rounding, have a focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physicians to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
  • Flexible full-time schedule
  • 36 patient contact hours with 4 hours of administrative time
  • Weekend call: 1:4
  • Primary focus on hospital rounding
  • Minor procedures performed include suture and drain care, wound care, etc.
  • Average inpatient volume: varies
  • Average outpatient volume: 15 to 20 per day
  • Up-to-date technologies and state-of-the-art surgical equipment
