    • Demonstrates willingness and ability to train for additional minor procedures within licensure scope (e.g., thyroid or lymph node FNA biopsies, ultrasound-guided drain placements).
  • Collaborates with referring physicians and specialists, providing timely clinical updates, coordinating care transitions, and reinforcing AMI's role as a partner in vascular and interventional care.
  • Maintains meticulous, real-time documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and quality initiatives.
  • Participates in patient discharge preparation, including providing comprehensive discharge instructions, prescriptions, follow-up planning, and patient/family education to optimize outcomes.
  • Assists with inpatient consultations and follow-up for affiliated hospital systems on an as-needed basis, supporting continuity of care between outpatient and inpatient services.
  • Manages patient messages in a timely manner, including responding to clinical questions, reviewing imaging and lab results, coordinating follow-up care, addressing post-procedure concerns, and escalating to the supervising physician when appropriate.
  • Participates in peer to peer discussions regarding insurance approval of certain interventional oncologic procedures.
  • Provides the highest level of customer service to promote patient satisfaction.
  • Prescribes medications while adhering to AMI policies for medication administration as necessary.
  • Promotes the AMI interventional program to referring physicians and community members and attend certain meetings, tumors boards, marketing and educational events.
  • Travels to other offices as necessary for patient evaluations and procedures.
  • Participates in educational classes, safety training, seminars, staff meetings and on-the-job training programs.
  • Maintains HIPAA rules and regulations as it applies to patient privacy. Maintains confidentiality of all information and records, including patient, employment and RRC proprietary information.
  • Interacts with referring physicians' offices, patients and other potential clients to develop the interventional practice and vein/vascular program, as follows: assists with the development of patient education materials, distributes marketing brochures, promotes growth of the practice and referral sources, represents AMI, the patient and referring physician to ensure open communication and problem solving objectives.
  • Performs other related duties within the organization as necessary or as assigned by a radiologist, medical director or designee.
