Nurse Practitioner - Advanced Practice Provider - Hospital
Raleigh, NC
Pay From: $48 per hour
MUST:
The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner must have experience:
Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
Experience in neurology is strongly preferred
Experience working in a hospital setting (one year or more)
Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems
Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/10) and CPT coding preferred
Skilled in performing advanced procedures such as IV insertion/infusion and botulinum toxin treatments
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams; strong organizational skills for managing complex cases
Must pass background checks and drug screening; excellent communication skills are essential for patient education and team coordination
DUTIES:
Conduct thorough neurological assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to evaluate patient conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with neurological disorders and chronic condition management
Perform advanced procedures such as IV infusions for multiple sclerosis, dementia, etc.
Administer injections, including botulinum toxin treatments, ensuring proper technique and patient safety
Utilize EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and coding (CPT, ICD-9/10)
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while working with diverse populations including those with developmental disabilities or dementia
