Job description

Job Summary:
The Data Analyst Specialist collects, processes, and performs statistical analyses on data sets.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Applies statistical methods to dissect data and produce insightful business reports

  • Develops related reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documents to support data-driven analysis

  • Creates Power BI dashboards to effectively measure and monitor critical KPI metrics

  • Collects and analyzes data to support modeling, network optimization, and potential supply chain enhancements

  • Generates ad hoc queries and reports as required to facilitate smooth operations

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in working within a dynamic and collaborative team environment

  • Demonstrates advanced critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Possesses advanced Excel proficiency

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of statistical analysis techniques

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Minimum 2+years of relevant experience in data analytics, logistics, or a related field preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Physical dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, telephone, and office equipment; ability to access file cabinets and items stored at various levels, including overhead

  • Ability to communicate clearly and understandably in person, over the telephone, and in group settings

  • Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)

  • Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, draw valid conclusions, and make sound decisions

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Able to lift up to 15lbs at times
