Job description

Find your calling at Mercy!The Advanced Environmental Services Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and infection control standards within a hospital environment. This position requires advanced knowledge and skills in environmental services, with a focus on maintaining a hygienic and sterile environment to support patient care and safety.Position Details:

Preferred Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Prior hospital environmental service experience. Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions. Previous experience with performing manual tasks. Prior experience working with the public; customer service.

Physical Requirements:
Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
