Inverness Endodontics is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and quality-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team in Inverness, FL. This role supports specialized endodontic procedures, utilizing cutting-edge technology. Inverness Endodontics is a well-established, privately owned endodontic practice with three locations across Central Florida. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of specialized endodontic care. Our newly renovated offices are equipped with the latest technology, including LED surgical microscopes, digital radiographs, on-site CBCT, and intraoral cameras. We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative team that values quality care and professional development.

Job Description

Specialized Chairside Assisting: Provide precise chairside assistance during a variety of endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy and potential surgeries.
Technology Operation: Operate and utilize advanced endodontic technology, including digital radiographs, CBCT equipment, and LED surgical microscopes.
Patient Comfort: Ensure patient comfort and maintain a calm, supportive environment throughout the procedure.
Clinical Preparation: Efficiently set up, prepare, and break down treatment operatories.
Sterilization & Compliance: Maintain top-tier sterilization and infection control protocols.
Practice Organization: Assist with managing equipment, supplies, and overall clinical organization.

Salary Range

Part-time $19 - $24 per hour

- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule

Operating Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Typical Hours:
Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays off.

Requirements

Education: Certificate of Completion from an accredited Dental Assisting School is Required.
X-Ray Certification: Current, active X-Ray Certification (or equivalent Radiology Certification).
Work Style: Energetic, compassionate, quality-oriented, and highly motivated for professional growth.

Preferences
  • Nitrous Oxide Certification

Experience: One (1) year of prior Dental Assisting experience.
Specialty Experience: Experience with assisting in Endodontics.
Certification: Expanded Functions (EFDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) status.
Anesthetic Certification: Nitrous Oxide Certification.
