Contract Type: W2
Duration: 6 Months with possible extension
Location: Wilmington, MA (#LI-Onsite)
Pay Range: $35.00 - $40.68 per hour on W2

Job Summary:
This role involves hands-on assembly and sub-assembly of complex hardware products, ensuring adherence to strict quality standards. You will be responsible for preparing components for testing, performing detailed inspections, and documenting build processes. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with engineering teams to refine designs and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to specifications.
  • Conduct in-process quality checks and dimensional verifications.
  • Prepare assemblies for functional testing and software integration.
  • Document deviations, non-conformances, and quality issues.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and schematics for product build.
Must-Have Skills:
  • 5+ years of hands-on electromechanical assembly (robotics, semiconductor, aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or similar).
  • Experience with prototype, NPI, or low-volume production builds.
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring schematics, and assembly/work instructions.
  • Hands-on experience with precision assembly tools (torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, crimpers, hand/power tools).
  • Strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, quality inspection, and collaboration with engineering teams.
Industry Experience:
This role requires experience in manufacturing or engineering environments, specifically in prototyping or low-volume production of hardware.
