Get hands-on experience in a real fabrication environment while learning core welding and shop skills. This internship is built for entry-level candidates looking to develop practical trade experience and grow into a full-time welder.
What You'll Do
  • Assist with basic fabrication and welding tasks using FCAW and GMAW methods
  • Read and follow simple blueprints and work instructions
  • Use hand and power tools (grinders, chipping hammers, etc.) safely and effectively
  • Help prep, fit, and clean materials for welding
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace (5S standards)
  • Follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Track work hours and job activity in the company system (SAP or similar)
  • Support team members to complete jobs on time and to standard

What Makes You a Good Fit
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-2 years of experience (shop class or welding school counts)
