Description

Seeking an LPN or RN to work at our residential adolescent and young adult program in Kennesaw, GA.

Schedules available: FT Evenings

2:30-11PM

Starting Pay is $28/hr, LPN & $35/RN + additional $$ with years of experience in nursing!

Shift Differential: additional $3/hr on Nights/Weekends

As an RN/LPN, you will provide direct care nursing and will also be responsible for administering medications, providing medical treatments, completing admissions, and actively engage with the youth served and their families/guardians.

Devereux Georgia provides intensive residential treatment in a secure setting for youth, ages 10 to 21, who are facing significant emotional, behavioral and intellectual/developmental challenges. Our beautiful campus located in a serene, wooded setting offers a swimming pool, volleyball court, tennis court, playing field, lake and playground, which allow our youth the opportunity to enjoy plenty of outdoor activities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Completion of accredited LPN OR RN program andcurrent Georgia Nursing License required.

  • Six months to one (1) year of Nursing experience is highly preferred.

  • Experience in psychiatric nursing with children or adolescents is a plus.

Other qualifications:

  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.

  • Valid Driver's License and Satisfactory Drug Screen and Background Check results.

  • Weekend availability and holidays required.

  • Must be able to complete a two-week, paid new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:30am to 5:30pm daily.
