Adult Day Care Rns and LPNs both provide vital patient care but differ mainly in their scope of practice and work settings. Both roles require licensure, but RNs have a broader scope of practice and responsibilities.

Can an adult day care RN work in a daycare?

An adult day care registered nurse (RN) typically works in healthcare settings that provide medical and social services for older adults during the day. While they may have skills applicable to general daycare environments, their training and certifications are focused on medical care, making them more suited for adult or senior care facilities rather than child daycare centers. Working in a traditional child daycare may require different certifications and training specific to pediatric care.
