QA Engineer
Summary
We are seeking a QA Engineer to support a collaborative, fast-moving engineering team.  This role involves working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality delivery across multiple Web applications and systems.  The ideal candidate takes initiative, communicates effectively, and thrives in an environment where priorities evolve rapidly.
Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for Web applications and related services.
  • Build and enhance UI and API automation.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, product owners, and external vendors.
  • Define test strategies and acceptance criteria for new features and enhancements.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure end-to-end application quality.
  • Analyze test results, document findings, and partner with teams to resolve defects.
  • Support test data preparation, environment readiness, and continuous QA process improvements.
  • Participate in and support user acceptance testing (UAT).

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience designing and executing automated test suites for Web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies across UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Familiarity with Cloud-based environments (e.g., Azure) and ability to validate Cloud-executed automation.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for test data creation and validation.
  • Experience with Azure-based automation frameworks and tooling.
  • Experience using commercial test automation tools and scripting in JavaScript or C#.
  • Strong SQL query-writing and troubleshooting skills.
  • Testing background involving custom applications and data integrations.
  • Experience bridging QA and development teams including supporting custom automation frameworks.
