Job description

Job Summary:
Sling TV, part of EchoStar, is reimagining the future of connectivity and is seeking a Senior Data Analyst for Marketing. The role focuses on bridging technical datasets with actionable business strategies to optimize marketing spend and improve customer retention through data-driven insights.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver a unified view of customer interactions across all streaming platforms using Adobe Analytics to drive integrated business growth
• Improve conversion rates within the sign-up flow by identifying and resolving UX friction points in both organic and paid marketing channels
• Reduce churn by establishing clear correlations between playback quality (QoE), viewing behaviors, and long-term customer value
• Provide senior leadership with high-impact investment recommendations based on synthesized attribution outputs and cross-platform dashboards
• Leverage AI-driven predictive modeling to forecast subscriber trends and automate anomaly detection within marketing datasets
• Align marketing analytics with broader departmental OKRs to ensure all data initiatives contribute directly to subscriber scale and profitability
Qualifications:
Required:
• Advanced expertise in Adobe Analytics and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) to architect complex data environments
• Deep proficiency in video telemetry tools like Conviva to evaluate Quality of Experience and viewer engagement
• Strategic influence and communication skills necessary to align cross-functional stakeholders and senior executives on data-driven goals
• Analytical problem-solving abilities focused on attribution modeling and marketing channel optimization
• AI Literacy and the capacity to apply machine learning insights to enhance data interpretation and marketing automation
• Critical experience leading or mentoring team members and fostering a culture of analytical excellence
• Critical experience managing end-to-end data strategies for large-scale streaming or subscription-based platforms
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business, or a related field
• Minimum Experience: 8 years of experience in digital analytics
• Required Technical Skills: Adobe Analytics
• Required Technical Skills: Conviva or similar video telemetry tools
• Required Technical Skills: Multi-platform attribution modeling
Preferred:
• Hands-on experience with Adobe CJA is highly preferred
