Pay range: $57,200 to $94,300 per year

About this position:

The GIS Analyst completes all service orders and analyzes and validates maps, drawings, and sketches prior to entering data into the Geographic Information System (GIS).

About this job:

  • Accurately enter data into the Geographic Information System (GIS) database
  • Assist crew members, engineers, and supervisors with map creation
  • Update and upload maps, drawings, and prints into the GIS system
  • Utilize different analysis tools on existing data to ensure proper attribution and connectivity
  • Complete all service orders
  • Convert hardcopy prints and drawings made by crew members and engineers into e-files
  • Review and analyze GIS reports and data to best utilize the information
  • Review, update, and archive existing data for current, accurate, and completeness
  • Assist users with GIS applications to define data, project requirements, and outputs
  • Support users on operation of GIS applications and databases
  • Complete all other projects as assigned
  • Work all required hours including evenings and weekends in response to acute services
  • The ability to maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this position, consistent with applicable laws and reasonable accommodation requirements
