Administrative Support Associate

The Administrative Support Associate provides a wide variety of administrative, and staff support services to a department such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, or providing information to visitors. The Administrative Support Associate works at the direction of the reporting supervisor to complete projects and generally coordinate the daily functions of the department as they relate to the reporting supervisor. This role is perfect for administrative assistants or secretarial professionals seeking to support non-clinical departmental operations in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and provide information to callers and visitors. • Purchase and order supplies for the department. • Process mail and handle routine correspondence. • Take notes and meeting minutes. • Update databases and handle basic spreadsheet tasks. • Draft correspondence, schedule appointments, and maintain files. • Coordinate daily departmental functions under supervisor direction. • Other administrative (non-clinical) duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience: 2 years in a secretarial or administrative assistant role.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent
